About

I have a gentle-sometimes playful-approach while holding deep respect for the pain, stress, or longing that leads people to seek therapy. I am honored to have the opportunity to accompany my clients as they progress in their therapeutic healing. I aim to be culturally sensitive and am LGBTQ+ affirmative.

I received a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I have experience working with youth, adults, and families in a variety of settings. I have been blessed with wise and dedicated mentors and teachers and I enjoy continuing to learn and develop as a person and therapist.

As a parent and spouse, I know how foundational the relationships within the home are to our well-being. I work with couples and with parent/child dyads to support stronger, more attuned relationships.

Having worked in high-tech, I understand some of the pressures faced here in Silicon Valley. I enjoy supporting individuals in finding meaningful work and creating healthy dynamics in their work environment.

Earlier in life, I taught yoga and experienced how valuable the body-mind connection is. I learned that by using breath and intentional relaxation, I could settle my thoughts and more easily soothe myself and find clarity of mind. When relevant, I bring mindfulness, body awareness, and stress-management techniques into our therapeutic work.

I am a member of:
  • California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT)
  • Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG)
  • Postpartum Support International
  • Association for Play Therapy
